Phase 4: Application Submittal

Assemble the required application materials and submit them to the Planning Division for a completeness review.

What happens

With your site research and pre-application feedback in hand, assemble the required materials and submit your discretionary permit application to the Planning Division. All required materials must be submitted as a single complete submission, partial submissions are returned.

What you need

  • The completed discretionary permit application packet
  • Project-specific submittal items (see the Planning Forms page)
  • No outstanding code-enforcement violations or unpaid fees on the site
  • A review of the relevant department fee schedules (charges are generally hourly, based on staff time)
